1) Full MS Outlook Integration
Enables users to auto-login and work from from within Outlook on Auscomp IT Commander.
2) Escalation email notification
Escalation emails are sent to the Manager, Request Originator & Assigned Technicians.
Note: All email notifications (incl. Email Templates, Recipients & Events) can be easily modified using the powerful customization feature.
3) Requests lodged via email now support attachments
Requests lodged via email can now have an attachment.
4) Requests can be updated via email
Requests can be acted on, modified & closed simply via email (eg: You may want to add a comment or change the status of a request).
5) New maintenance tab in System > Configuration
The new maintenance panel introduces 2 new functions:
a) Empty Database Button.
All KB articles, requests, message board entries & resources will be deleted.
b) Process Event Queue button.
The event queue can now be much more easily be managed.
6) New URL tab in System > Configuration
For better implementation of Auscomp IT Commander into your existing Intranet or Website, simple login and knowledge base panels have been provided.
7) Requested & Assigned linked in Request QuickView
Requested & Assigned is now a linked for one click information lookup.
8) Email logins are no longer case sensitive
9) Quick search in Asset list
A quick search function has been added to assist with asset management.
